TOXIC PLANTS

Many of us adore plants, inside our houses and apartments and outside in our gardens or on our balconies. Unfortunately quite a few plants can make your cat very ill indeed even to the point of causing death, notably lilies, which are used often in bouquets because they are so stunningly beautiful. Every part of the lily is toxic to your cat. If your cat brushes against the flower and gets pollen on its fur which it subsequently licks in grooming this can lead to the death of your beloved cat. So please do take care and check on the plants in your home.

There is a list of toxic plants to be found on a wonderful web site www.moggies.co.uk/plants.html which also gives a list of non-toxic plants. There is plenty of other information on this site so it is well worth a visit.
